Can a game change how you feel about math?
JiJi is a 3-foot-tall penguin on a journey through the world of ST Math. Students help JiJi overcome obstacles by solving math puzzles – and they associate JiJi with the thrill of challenge and success. JiJi crosses the screen every time a student successfully completes a puzzle, leading them to the next challenge. JiJi is curious, persistent, patient, and friendly.
JiJi’s name means “little chicken” in Mandarin. Learn more about JiJi.
ST Math is a PreK-8 visual instructional program that leverages the brain's innate spatial-temporal reasoning ability to solve mathematical problems.
ST Math Homeschool games bring more than 35,000 puzzles into your home, with interactive representations of math topics that align to all state standards and learning objectives that target key grade-level concepts and skills.
Because ST Math’s unique, patented approach builds deep conceptual understanding, the program is highly effective as a standalone Homeschool curriculum or as a supplement to other math instruction.
All PreK-8 curriculum is available to ST Math Homeschool users throughout the entire length of their annual subscription. The program’s levels are organized by grade, and parents can change their student’s level at any time. That means, for example, a student could start using the program at a third grade level and end the year working at a fourth grade level or beyond.
Here are some of the main topics covered by each grade:

ST Math is created by nonprofit organization, MIND Research Institute. Its mission is to ensure that all students are mathematically equipped to solve the world’s most challenging problems. At MIND, we strongly believe that all children deserve access to meaningful math learning. Should your family be unable to subscribe, please send a message to us at homeschool@mindresearch.org to apply for access.
ST Math is easy to set up and use for parents and students alike. In addition to free math resources for all families, we provide complimentary ongoing training and support to help parents maximize their student’s success. Adults don’t need to know all the mathematical answers to be equipped to help children through ST Math’s different challenges. We guide parents in facilitating the problem-solving process to cultivate confident and self-motivated learners.
