Math leaders have confidence in ST Math to build students’ conceptual understanding and strengthen their teachers’ math instruction while raising student achievement.
ST Math is designed to teach concepts the way the brain learns. Students are able to work through puzzles with no audio cues, or additional hints, forcing them to problem solve and learn through perseverance. It's an approach that is guided by our roots as a neuroscience research organization. In addition to the growth students see in their conceptual understanding, educators that use ST Math are able to change the existing culture in their math classrooms by shifting students from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset.
In addition to everything included with the ST Math subscription, we’ve created free instructional resources to support schools and families. You’ll find our Teacher & Family Guidebooks, which are available to download in PDF format and made to print. These are meant to make the most out of the ST Math journey and encourage activities outside of gameplay.
We’ve also made our MathMINDs conversations available. These are a series of conversations and resources that explore math outside of the classroom. The 8-week series is intended to be a journey of growth with families.
Curious to see the games for yourself? Look no further! We’ve now made full games available to try out for grades PreK-8. Simply click your grade and find the math concepts covered in the corresponding games. With 48 different games and over 320 levels, there are so many free resources to explore in your classroom.
More time spent on ST Math means more time spent learning. A novel study conducted by Proving Ground, part of the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University, found increasing program usage from fall to spring by more than 10 minutes per week correlated to significant higher math gains on multiple state standardized math assessments.
The program starts by teaching the foundational concepts visually, then connects the ideas to math symbols and language. The patented ST Math approach is rooted in neuroscience research into how the brain learns, ensuring that all students can master the content
